  • Where are you located?
    I am located at 125 Ashman St. inside LUX the Salon, in beautiful Downtown Midland, MI. We are across the street from Wichcraft between Pizza Sams and Coyer Candle Co.
  • What are your business hours?
    Sunday - Closed Monday - 10am-8pm Tuesday - 11am-8pm Wednesday - 10am-8pm Thursday - 11am-8pm Friday - 12pm-8pm Saturday - Closed
  • What form of payments do you accept?
    I accept all major credit cards, cash, and venmo.
  • What product lines do you use in the salon?
    I use Paul Mitchell The Color for my permanent color line and Redken Shades EQ for my Demi Permanent color. For my treatments I use multiple product lines including (but not limited to), Olaplex, K-18, Malibu, and Surface. All of my styling products are from the Surface line. You can shop most of my styling products at my online store which an be found here.
  • Do you offer silent appointments?
    Yes! If you're not feeling up for talking during your appointment, I completely understand! There are two ways to let me know you're wanting a silent appointment: Simply add it to the notes when you book your appointment online. I have a sign at my station that you can turn around to let me know that you're wanting a silent appointment. *Silent appointments do not mean that we won't discuss your hair, as always, your appointment will begin with a consultation to ensure we're on the same page. This simply means that we'll skip the chit chat so that you can sit in silence, read a book, surf the internet or get some work done. I might still have to ask you questions pertaining to your hair throughout the visit but I promise to be quick and to the point.
  • How do I book an appointment?
    Online booking is open 24/7, to book online, click here. If you're having trouble booking, please reach out, keep in mind that due to the hands on nature of my work, I'm not always available to answer the phone, the best way to contact me is through email at nikkidaveluyhair@gmail.com or text message at (989)941-8010 While I will make every effort to respond quicky please allow up to 2 business days for a response.
  • Can I bring a friend or child with me to my service?
    Our space is small, so while I love meeting new people, showing off your amazing hair, and hearing all about your little ones, we simply don't have the capacity to accommodate more people than services booked, especially as our team grows. Therefore, we ask that you show off your hair online and keep the little ones at home away from the chemicals and hot tools.
  • I can't find an appointment time that works for me on your booking website, what do I do?
    If you're having trouble finding a time that works for your schedule you can send me an email at nikkidaveluyhair@gmail.com and let me know what days/times you're looking for. I'll place you on my cancelation list and if an appointment opens up I'll let you know.
  • What if I need a weekend appointment?
    Since Saturdays and Sundays are outside of my normal business hours, I offer appointments on these days at a VIP rate equivalent to time and a half. For example, if your appointment is normally $100, your total for a weekend appointment would be $150. If you're in need of a weekend appointment, please contact me at nikkidaveluyhair@gmail.com and I will get back to you within 48 business hours.
  • How early should I arrive before my appointment?
    I always recommend that you plan to arrive 10 minutes early to settle in, grab a drink, and accommodate any construction/traffic challenges. Please note that if you are running more than 10 minutes behind, your appointment could be subject to changes/edits to ensure we finish on time. If you are running more than 15 minutes behind your appointment may be subject to cancelation as well as our cancelation policies.
  • What is your cancelation policy?
    In order to continue providing the best possible scheduling options to my guests, I require 24 hour notice to cancel your appointment or make any changes to the services scheduled. Should you need to cancel with less than 24 hours notice, a 50% rebooking fee will need to be paid before a new appointment is scheduled. To view all my policies, click here.
