Welcome To Your New Salon Home!

I get it, I know that visiting a new salon may feel a little intimidating, especially if you're unsure what to expect. To help make sure your first visit is as seamless and comfortable for you as possible I've compiled some helpful information to share with you.  I'm very excited to see you, thank you so much for choosing me as your hairdresser!

Before Hello

If you're a new guest who is receiving any color service, please take a few minutes to fill out my Digital Consultation Form if you haven't done so already. This is a crucial step in ensuring that your desired hairstyle, color, or treatment aligns with your expectations and suits your individual preferences

Lux the Salon is located at 125 Ashman St. in downtown Midland, MI.   We are located in the same building as Pizza Sam's and Coyer Candle, across the street from Whichcraft.

                                    There is plenty of parking available

                                 to downtown guest. If you

                               parallel park on Ashman St.

                            between Larkin St. and Main

                          St. you will enter the building 

                         through the Ashman St.

                     entrance located between the 

                 salon and Coyer Candle Co., Lux

                 the Salon will be on your left.

                There is additional parking on

    Larkin St. behind the salon.  If you are parking in the

     parking lot the entrance to the building will be in the

  southwest corner of the parking lot. You will enter through

 the back hallway and Lux the Salon will be on your right.  If

   you have any trouble at all finding the salon please do not

          hesitate to reach out to me at 989-941-8010 

        and I will gladly walk outside to show you the way.

The Day of Your Appointment

LUX the Salon

Please come to your appointment with clean, dry hair.  Clean hair

     takes color better and root touchup sprays are especially   

       difficult to color over and may affect the outcome of your

        color.  Please avoid wearing clothing items that are bulky,

        especially turtlenecks and hoodies, as well as clothing items

        that you would be upset if they were to get color on them,

               it does happen and is sometimes unavoidable.

        All major credit cards are accepted through square, but cash is always preferred.

                                        I'm aware that sometimes

                                     your appointment time will

                                   be scheduled during lunch,

                                dinner, or even snack time. 

                                 In order help make your

       visit as enjoyable as possible we offer

 complimentary snack items for all of our guest. 

 In addition to snacks, we also have a selection

  of drinks including, water (regular and seltzer

 options available), coffee (regualr, capuchino, and

  lattes available), various sodas, select teas, and

              wine (available upon request).

Masks are currently not required in the salon, however, if you are more comfortable with me wearing a mask I will be happy to wear one during our visit.  Simply fill out the digital consultation form and check the box that request I wear a mask.  I will have disposable masks on hand for guest as well, if you need one, just ask.

Sanitizer is available at my station and I sanitize all surfaces between each appointment.   Our salon space is limited so I ask that you please come alone to your appointment.  

​

If you or anyone in your house has been exposed to Covid, please message me to reschedule your appointment for another time.  

During your appointment I will answer all of your hair questions and concerns to the best of my ability. I will show you some of my styling techniques, give you my best maintenance tips for the services you are

    receiving, and share my favorite products with you.

    Before you leave I will guide you on which services

  you should book next to continue building or  maintaining your dream hair!​

After Goodbye

Before our time is over, we'll craft a personalized maintenance plan and get your next appointment booked so you can be on your way to turning heads with your new look.​

 

After your first appointment you can expect an email with all the product recommendations used during your visit in the salon. You can learn more about my online store here.
